Mozart’s “The Magic Flute,” as staged by Belarus’ National Academic Bolshoi Opera & Ballet Theater, in collaboration with Austria’s Brucknerhaus Linz
One of the most famous operas by revered Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, “The Magic Flute,” which originally premiered in September 1791, will be presented on the stage of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera & Ballet Theater in Minsk, in collaboration with the Austrian city of Linz’s Brucknerhaus center. This Belarusian-Austrian co-production will feature several Austrian stars including conductor Manfred Mayrhofer, stage director Hans-Joachim Frey, who is also the head of the Brucknerhaus Linz, and Prof. Hartmut Schörghofer as costume designer.
